Relief!!

FIN exam is finished, at last!!!

I finished at about 2pm, had lunch at Pancake Parlour, then headed home for a power-nap!

Curled my hair and drove to Werribbee for some Mexican with Leah and Ruby :)

Oh how I've looked forward to this day - the start of my six-month study break!!! :)

I bought my zebra-ish sheer dress a year and half ago at H&M in New York. Looks like I'm wearing a tube dress inside but it was actually two tube tops, one worn as a skirt. My mum had the yellow obi custom-made for me by Palmos - I think five years ago. :)

The last time I was at the Etihad Stadium was December last year for my graduation!

Yay! only a couple of weeks before Christmas and New Year's!! I can't believe 2011 is almost finished! But before I get too excited, I gotta go back to prepping for my FIN exam next week!

Moving forward...

My first day at the new workplace went very well :)

I will be an Associate Accountant at Wood Group PSN, a global engineering company. Coming from a firm of about 60 people, I am now joining an international organisation with about 38,000 employees all over the world!!

Moving on after about 3 years

I started at Morrows in July 2008, a week before my 21st birthday! This was my first full-time accounting job!

I'm grateful for the opportunity that I had to work with very intelligent people and be exposed to various clients in different industries. I have learned so much! Although I'm sad to leave, I also look forward to the exciting changes ahead 'coz I know I'm going to grow more if I leave what has become pretty comfortable and do some healthy stretch :)

It has been a roller coaster ride of emotions for me the past week - my uncle's passing, major career decisions and breakthroughs, my sister's unplanned visit, Audit exam, catching up on FIN which started the week before. I know the next couple of months will be hectic. It was good to be able to spend time with family even for just a little bit.

Clicks, Hums & Harmonies

We had the opportunity to perform at a Filipino show that is aired here in Oz.

Jon signed my sister and I up for the show and sent videos with our previous performances.

We had the shoot this afternoon and we weren't expecting that it was going to be that serious! So professional with all the effects, cameras and crew!

It was heaps fun although it was a bit difficult as I just recovered from a flu and Jazzie was coming down with a cold and we had to sing and control our pitch with the heat of the spotlights, the smoke and the pressure of getting everything right the first time!

It went well though, I think! :)

We did 3 songs but we do not have copies of the videos yet and won't have the liberty to post until they actually show them in the program.

I just started revising for Audit and I already got the folder for my next module!

There is a week overlap between the two modules, unfortunately but I have faith that I'll get through these!! Aja aja fighting!!! =)

I go to different salons here and every time I ask for a short haircut (as in a bob), the stylists never agree with me and I always just walk out of the salon with a fringe. D'oh.

I'm 24!!

I celebrated my 24th with beautiful friends and cousins, dite and lols on Saturday. We had heaps of fun doing Karaoke in the City! Great night!

My actual birthday was on Sunday. Jon, Jas and I planned to have dinner at Squiresloft in Docklands. We got there and they weren't open! We went to a never-tried restaurant in Hardware Lane in the city instead. The food was actually very nice there!
